Monomethylamine aqueous solution is a colorless transparent liquid with the smell of ammonia; Soluble in water, soluble in ethanol and ether; It is easy to burn and forms explosive mixture with air; It has weak alkalinity and forms easily soluble salts with inorganic acids.
